Weekly maintenance reporting, automated

A petrochemical plant runs its maintenance through SAP PM. Every week, the work orders for the period had to be pulled, cleaned, classified and shaped into a management report — by hand. That took an engineer roughly four hours, every single week.

We automated the pipeline. The work-order data is extracted from SAP PM, classified, and assembled into the same fixed report format automatically. What took an afternoon now takes minutes, and the report looks the same every week regardless of who runs it.

The client is confidential. No company name or plant identifiers appear in this study, and the figures are deliberately approximate.
